It used to press coffee ground into the bottom of the coffee maker. Some steps to operate this coffee maker are: Firstly put your coffee ground on the coffee maker, and then pour hot water 200oF and brewing process begin. You may stir the coffee to help brewing process. After around three minutes, filter the coffee ground with fine wire filter on the coffee maker cover. Press the ground onto the bottom of coffee maker, and you can serve your coffee.

  • Vacuum coffee maker

This is the most unique and interesting coffee maker (for me). It uses physics law which is vacuum effect for brewing process. Vacuum coffee maker usually made with 2 transparent pot, one in the bottom for water reservoir and second in the top for brewing process, a place where we put coffee ground. The water reservoir will be heated and make water vapor which pushed through membrane in the middle between upper and lower pot through upper pot, brewing the coffee ground slowly. After brewing process finish around 3 minutes, remove the heater, than wait. The coffee on the upper pot will be suck back into the lower pot due vacuum effect. Remove the upper pot, and you can enjoy your coffee.

  • Drip percolator

This coffee maker only use one vessel for brewing and water reservoir. Coffee ground is placed inside the vessel but still separate place. The coffee ground hang in a filter basket pot and water reservoir placed below coffee ground, but still in one vessel. When water heated, it makes vapor, go up and brew the coffee in the filter basket. The coffee will drip to reservoir and this process repeated continuously. After water boiling, turn off the heater, and leave it for 3 minutes. After that you can enjoy your coffee.
